Jan 22nd. A good walk from New Bridge on Curry Moor to Knapp and back home. Left the car at New Bridge and Uncle Rob drove the landy to pick it up. Verdict: from Clarkson/Houston “Slightly loose steering and it’s a piece of crap.” For that he gets hidden behing the spare tyre
Jan 21st. Bob from Cycle World and “Yes” he is holding my new birthday present from Susan. A surprise with, I suspect an ulterior motive…my first new bike since I was 13. How they have changed lighter, smooth gears - great
Jan 20th - What a superb day, heavy frost and bright blue sky. Found this mute swan having a bath in the River Tone and just seemed to good to miss. Focus needs improvement but Auntie Gill is here for the weekend - expecting a lesson on the new camera.
Jan 19th. As you can see, we are not in Grayshott or Somerset. Up to the "Big Smoke" today with a Client. I think RE was carring valuables in his man bag, and asked the chap in red for an armed escort, no reply...
Jan 18th. Barney Rubble is trouble. The photo of the day here is the black lab, Barney. His owner Marion will feature on another day. Barney is one of the offspring from Molly our lab and is full of his mum's genes, a spoilt, soft, adorable looking lab.

Jan 12th. John Trenchard, Master of the Purton Shoot in West Gloucestershire. Set half way between Lydney and Gloucester a "non stuffy" farm shoot boardering the Forest of Dean. A bit wet on the day but lots of fun.

Jan 1st . Great friends Tim and Fiona Wright with Sue and Nick Colvin on News Years Day at the newly (re) opened Rising Sun in Knapp. So rare to hear of a pub being reopened after 10 years especially when it’s at the end of a no through road in a small hamlet.
