Sept 10th The Wedding Party From North Curry to Knapp past our house. On their way to Knapp I snapped this photograph from the top bedroom of the cottage as the carriages went by it was an appalling afternoon raining stair rods nevertheless it was an unusual shot to take.
Sept 9th Stuart from J.F Scriven Butchers in North Petherton. Our goats have been spared from Stuart however he has dealt with our pigs and shortly are sheep will have an appointment with him. He's always very keen to listen to what we really want which is quite unusual in this day and age and he has some great advice with regards to unusual cuts of meat and different ways of trying and preserving meets in the old-fashioned way
Sept 8th 10th Anniversary Party. This was a spectacular evening in Grayshott a 10th anniversary party for Gallery One in crossways Road. Cracking music lovely food so much to drink as Cath Simmons will discuss, a lovely evening. Marion certainly knows how to throw a party

Sept 6th Allo Allo, 2011 the read through. 15 years ago Churt amateur dramatic Society produced hello hello and it was a huge amount of fun and very successful at the Electric Theatre in Guildford. Tonight there are plans to and do another production and it was great to see many of the old cast still there reading their own individual parts
Sept 5th Pete the Pig Slayer at A C Hopkins's slaughterhouse. Two of the pigs went off to the slaughterhouse at Creech today, they were greeted by Pete shown in the photograph who ushered them down the pathway to oblivion as he has done so many times before he seems to be rather anaesthetised to the job, good things too, otherwise it would really get your down
Sept 4th. They have started the new garden wall - at last. Darren and Jim worked very hard this weekend starting the new wall to the front garden. I cannot see that it's going to be finished before November and then we have to start thinking about landscaping and finishing the project off. They're doing a great job but these things take a long time
